#another world 2
The sidereal couple appeared on the twin of the earth. But what the man could see, seemed to be imaginary.
He felt that he knew the things that made up this universe. But colors and certain forms could not be defined according to the same criteria as on earth.
He thought of this force that had allowed them to cross the universe. She alone could be capable of doing such a miracle. It had to be of incomparable size so that it could recreate a universe just as identical as the one from which they came.
Then he had an idea. Perhaps this force was to be a kind of psychic plasma, in which all sorts of things could be conceived.
While he was losing himself in his reverie about the why and the how of the thing, his traveling companion did not seem to care about such considerations. She did not even notice the doubtful state that seemed to be forcing her companion. For her, everything seemed normal. As if this crossing had been just a trip to the local supermarket!
"This is Juby, it's the place you love and respect so much. All your desires can be satisfied. It's the place you called paradise. Here you will not find any master of conscience, no god to whom to refer to you, because in this place you have become a god yourself. But do not forget that in this world you are still more alone than in the old one. Here your burden will be greater still. Thus, all the acts that you will realize, will be at the same time your judges, as well as your defense.Beware of your old life, because the memory of it could be a trap for the realization of your life in this world. It's up to you to discover the laws and respect the duties that follow from them ..."
She had just taken him in his rantings, as to the understanding of this particular universe. He had scarcely heard all the explanations of his sidereal guide. He had caught, on the fly, some bits of the last words: those of homework. One word, however, came back to him. This was the word paradise. What had she meant when she said that this place was comparable to that paradise, which the ancients had so much boasted of honey and milk? Speaking of a place where happiness was the perfection and the layer of what was to be on the earth.
If it had to be ... Then he must have been dead ... This woman was to represent an angel from heaven to guide him to this much awaited place of men of his kind. He did not dare to think he was still alive, for his reason would be lost in the most harmful conjectures for such a small human brain. The solution of ease ... It was necessary that all this is very simple, and everything would return in the order. He tried, then, to know more ... But his companion put one of his wonderful fingers on his lips, wanting to make him feel that he should not ask any more questions. Just be guided with confidence ...
He turned his eyes in all directions of Juby ... If this place was to be paradise, he had to find beings like him, to live there all eternity. Nobody caught his eye. As she had said, he was alone. Nobody would answer his calls. Nobody had to tell him the truth. He had to deal with his doubts and uncertainties.
Having given her last recommendations, the rainbow-eyed woman returned to the bubble of light, which had suddenly reappeared. The golden pink nimbus enveloped her with its soft light ... Then, the traveler disappeared in a great flash of light, leaving the traveler to the fate that awaited him.
There were still many unanswered questions. He was once again alone to answer it. This unknown world, what could he bring him more than his experience on earth?
To find a beginning of answer he had no other solution than to be guided by his destiny, and to discover the new world that had been given to him.
As his steps took him to an unimaginable location, he realized that Juby's details were beginning to unfold before him. Certainly, he had seen the contours of this planet while he was in space. He had been so much subjugated by the resemblance of the earth that he had not paid attention to Juby's details. And for good reason ! Juby did not have any details yet. It was a planet that was still to be born, and the designer must be him.
There was more time before he noticed it. The force that had led her to this place was an integral part of her being. The only thing he could not yet know was the extent of his powers through his mind.
Whenever an idea came to her mind, she materialized immediately. Shapeless constructions emerged from the unseen to stand before him. Shapes and colors, which had nothing to do with what he had known before. Then the words of the traveler returned to her memory. He must not trust his memory. It was not necessary to reconstruct the past, on pain of a frightful disaster. But in him slumbered the attraction of power. Had not he been given to use it? Nothing could stop him anymore. He discovered in him unknown resources. This force grew as it filled Juby's world. He was like a crazy young man driving his brand new car. No break-in. Extreme speed, for the pleasure of the strongest sensations. Danger, do not know, he told himself. We'll see later !
But, to all things its limits. The creation had hers. Moreover, he did not know how this force was going through him. He had a body that should not be prepared for this kind of experience. Also, after a moment, which seemed to have lasted an eternity, the magic of creation faded. A great fatigue invades him. He felt it more at the level of the mind than that of the physical. It was because his mind had become the most important thing in this world. His body was only a vehicle. Then, as if running out of fuel, without opposing any resistance, he let himself be carried away, once again, into the world of oblivion. The god of sleep knew how to preserve those who had entered his kingdom.
In spite of the powers he had obtained, the world of dreams was always present, as if it were an absolute necessity of Being. But the dream he was doing had nothing to do with those he had done in the past. The images, which appeared to him, were totally unknown. Moreover, they materialized, to become one entity with him.
Outside, outside the place of dreams, in this virtual reality, Juby's sky streaked with bands of increasingly thicker colors. They met slowly, until they overlapped, then mixed together to form only one.
Meanwhile, the dreamer could not change the order of things. He remained behind all these manifestations. The unity of the color bands had ended. At once, the dreamer felt as if he were sucked out of his world of limbo. The reality outside had entered the virtual world within. A world of light had just been born in his mind. A landscape in which darkness had no place. But also, a landscape in which, it seemed to him that something was missing, so that the unity of this light is complete ... This something had to be him!
He tried to contemplate his image, to look at himself face to face ... And he did not succeed. He did not know what to do to be in a world of which he was the creator. He must have forgotten what he was. The only thing he managed to do was to create beings and forms, whose memory had not forgotten the structure.
Gradually, these strange shapes approached each other, agglutinating, until they formed only one and the same structure more complex than the previous ones. The thing was finished. He could see it in spirit. And oh! Surprised, he realized that what he had created was the image of what he had been. Now the dream world could be observed by the dreamer.
This creation did not suit him well. The solitude, which had so preoccupied him, was not to be a source of misfortune in the world of dreams. Then he decided to create other forms that would correspond to him, and would come to meet him when the time came.
All this dream creation had taken most of his sleep, and he could not complete it completely. He knew something was going to be missing, but he would give it later to the world of Morpheus.
The darkness was doing a free game again. They were always there, when the wonderful worlds disappeared. They had to be like a kind of buffer, an indefinite space that does not correspond with nothingness. Another thing, that no being should ever know, without the fear seizing him ...
One of the children interrupted the storyteller ...
"Tell me Theodore, is it like the monsters in my dreams?"
Johanna interrupted the story of the sage. She seemed concerned that she could create so many images that made her so afraid during her nightmares. She trembled with terror, and her young companions too. Theodore saw well what was the distress of the little children. This was the rule of tales, to provide some terrible pictures. They had to learn how to get rid of it. And for that, they had to understand that they were the authors. It is their memory that acted in this way, just like the hero of the story. Nothing and no one can change what has been. It is the rule ! It is immutable ... as much for the gods as for the men. That he could not yet make them understand, but perhaps at the end of the story, they will know, what darkness can be. He had yet to resume his story, while reassuring his small troop.
"Dragons and witches have as much reason to be as princesses and unicorns, evil beings are, if you will, they disappear when you wish, as if by magic. In the dream, Johanna, a time will come when your dreams will no longer be peopled with those strange beings who are still frightening you, and where you will discover a world of sweetness and light that will enchant you ... Let's go on! " He grumbled a little, then continued ...
"Juby was asleep, just as the dreamer was, the sleep of one was tied to the sleep of the other." The sequences of dreams passed one after the other, just as if it were a dream. A succession of days and nights only, neither the dreamer nor Juby was aware of it.It was in one of these successions that he decided to travel his new world. He managed to meet the beings he had loved, but also those who had banished him from society ... Strangely, they no longer seemed to be the same.
Their behavior had changed dramatically, from the fact that they had done bad things in the other world, they no longer bore the stigma. Everything was happening, as if a general pardon had erased all traces of Even the dreamer's rancor had no place in this world, had they had the leisure to repent, yet the acts they committed against him were not to suffer from any kind of rebellion. They had committed the irreparable harm of a man who had no other desire than to live a simple life, but they had decided otherwise, and that had to be eliminated for him. If not, they would have lost the power to dominate their peers.
For all that, he felt a need to go out to meet them, but as he managed to get closer, he could see them go away without taking a step. motionless in their postures, but the space between the dreamer and them was increasing, and he was sorry that he could not change anything. A question was made in his mind. In this world had so much power, did not have that of retaining the people who peopled it? That intrigued him strongly, But no more than the idea of giving up pursuing beings that would be forever inaccessible.
He was disappointed by his discovery, but the shadow of forgetfulness was still there, and again took hold of his dreams.
When he awoke, his mind was still quite upset, he did not know if the dream was going on or if the world that was awakening at the same time as him was the real world." So, what was his surprise to see that he was standing by a fountain, he did not remember seeing it when he came in. What had he done during his sleep so that things could change in this way? He could take control of himself, could he control his mind and his dreams, so as not to be surprised on awakening by more terrifying appearances than this one?
He looked around everything, just the fountain!" The other elements of the landscape were as if wrapped in a veil of gauze, hiding them from the viewer's eyes, the water flowing from the fountain rattling, spreading over the ground in cascades of iridescent crystals, as it passed by, it stung him with sharp shards, and suddenly the woman who had brought him to Juby appeared in the middle of this river, his eyes sparkling like a rainbow. It was him, he thought, he was the one who had created images of the past ... This woman was a good representation of the past! to approach it and touch it, just with your fingertips, he thought.
To his amazement, she did not evaporate! What he had in front of him was as real as him. He had felt it at his fingertips. She always appeared in those moments when he felt a great anxiety. But this time it was a different feeling. His eyes were attracted to those of his traveling companion. They exuded a great sensuality, as if they penetrated the depths of the traveler's soul. At that moment, his heart was probed by the woman. A great emotion seized him, as if a burning flame filled the whole of his being. He felt himself as entering into communion with that strange being he had followed so far. In a flash, the two souls united. As the prodigy took place, the whole universe exploded, as if the light had just been born. Time passed slowly, neither of the two travelers wanted to move. They had both hands in each other. They felt united, inseparable for eternity. The universe could disappear, without it embarrassing them. They knew that their union would be stronger than the force governing the worlds. Yet she was going to break the charm that operated."
"Come, she said, I'm going to lead you to a place you do not know, this one is a projection of another world yet, now that your mind is correlating with the forces of the universe, you're going to to be able to live among others. "
"What did she mean to say the mother enigma?" "A true sphinx, this good woman," said the traveler to himself. "Once again, his old spirit took over. But she knew it. It would not be easy to take him where they had to go together. Only time would bring the necessary keys to the understanding of all these things ...
The others, he knew that there could not be, since the only beings he had met fainted as he tried to approach them.
He asked her a series of questions again, but she always answered him the same way: I am not allowed to answer you. She said that with that sorry look, it made her laugh that he did not know everything, right away.
At that moment, she rolled her eyes, as if to obtain a positive answer to her wishes. But immediately, she lowered them to the ground, without saying a word, resigned to not being able to do more.
"Do not worry, she said to him. With me you do not risk anything."
"Do not worry, am I worried, no, everything is normal, I'm in the company of an extraordinary woman, doing extraordinary things ... myself, I do the same. .. Everything is normal, since you say it! "
He knew he had no choice. He had to follow his traveling companion, rely on her, he who never before had relied on anyone.
The golden pink light reappeared, enveloping them both. And all of a sudden, like a lightning bolt through the universe, everything in this world began to move ..."
